A cultivation RPG with two AI roles

The Steam listing for 不问凡尘, called World Apart in official English announcements, names Nuverse as developer and publisher and dates Early Access to September 23, 2026. Its advertised activities include turn-based combat, alchemy, crafting, auctions, disciples and relationships. It is a downloadable Windows game, rather than a browser game generator.

We reviewed the storefront and developer announcements on October 22. We have not bought, installed or played it. Gameplay descriptions and claimed effects below come from the developer.

AI role What the official material says What remains unverified
Asset production The Chinese AI disclosure lists videos, scenes, sound effects and community items Generated proportions, tools and human editing
NPC interaction during play The store describes typed conversations, persuasion and triggered events, and identifies volcengine as a third-party AI service Reliable arbitrary input, memory across saves or model generation of every quest

It is a concrete example of potentially combining creation-time and runtime AI. Attractive footage cannot establish persistent NPC memory or unrestricted influence over the story.

What happens when the quota runs out?

The Early Access launch announcement describes a buy-to-play single-player game without in-game purchases, with complimentary AI dialogue tokens. It says NPCs switch to pre-written dialogue when those tokens run out, while the main story remains playable. This is a developer commitment for that release, not a promise of unlimited AI conversations forever.

The October 13 patch announcement records another token reset, advanced settings for custom AI NPCs and conversation rewards involving friendship and bonding. A reset announcement does not establish automatic periodic refills. Before buying, confirm the current allowance, replenishment policy, custom API costs and data handling with the developer.

For players, continuing the main story and retaining generated conversations are different access conditions. For creators, this raises a useful design question: how does authored content take over when a model service is limited? We have not tested exhausted quotas, offline play, service failure or relationship state after reloading.

Early Access means continuing maintenance

The October 21 notes introduce NPC sparring opportunities and claim fixes involving lost cultivation progress records, lingering quests and inventory organization. These are reported maintenance items, not fixes independently reproduced by us. Ordinary NPC events are not automatically model-generated events.

The store says the game is incomplete. Future cultivation stages, maps and stories remain development plans rather than delivered content. Check the original listing for changing prices and discounts.

Check access before choosing

Listed minimum requirements include 64-bit Windows 10, 16 GB RAM and 50 GB storage. We have not measured performance. Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and English appear in the language table; that does not verify translation completeness or quality.

For an AI character experience, check the quota, external service, fixed-dialogue fallback and saved relationship state. For an RPG, check the currently delivered content and patch history. Our cooperation-call analysis discusses a separate distribution route; inclusion here does not establish participation in that program.
